Tadiran
The TLI battery series has been specifically designed for long-term use in harsh environments and represents an important breakthrough in lithium-ion battery technology.
Rechargeable lithium-ion standard cells have inherent disadvantages, including short life, low cycle times, high self-discharge, and limited temperature range (0 ° C to 60 ° C) without the ability to charge at low and high temperatures.
In contrast, TLI series batteries use the technology used in the Tadiran patented hybrid capacitor (HLC), which stores the high current pulses required for two-way wireless communication. Tadiran technology has been proven in practice in millions of cells and provides over 25 years of service life. TLI series batteries modify this technology to ensure reliable, long-lasting operation in extreme environmental conditions.
Features:
– wider operating temperature range (- 40 ° C to 85 ° C, for short-term storage up to 90 ° C)
– ability to deliver high current pulses (up to 5A)
– low self-discharge rate (less than 5% per year)
– up to 5 times more life cycles (5000 full cycles)
– longer service life
– charging at extreme temperatures is possible
Typical values for 25 ° C for batteries stored for a year or less
